My Plans for the Future (Reflections)
My Plans for the Future
Thinking about the future has always been exciting and a little nerve-wracking at the same time. There’s this mix of anticipation and uncertainty, but one thing I know for sure is that I want to pursue something that truly matters to me. After finishing this program, I plan to take everything I’ve learned and apply it to the real world, whether it’s through further studies, career opportunities, or personal growth.
In the short term, right after completing the program, my main focus will be on gaining practical experience and sharpening my skills. Whether that means continuing my studies or jumping straight into a career, I want to make sure I’m actively learning and improving. I believe that education doesn’t stop after graduation—it’s a lifelong process. I also plan to continue growing personally, developing better habits, and becoming more disciplined in everything I do.
My 3-Year Plan
Over the next three years, I want to establish a strong foundation in my chosen field. If I continue studying, I’ll work hard to excel academically and gain as much knowledge as possible. If I enter the workforce, I’ll look for opportunities that allow me to grow, challenge myself, and develop valuable experience. These three years will be about building the skills, connections, and expertise that will help me in the long run.
At the same time, I don’t want to focus only on work or studies—I want to keep improving myself in other areas too. One of my biggest personal goals is to finally start training in a martial arts gym. I’ve been passionate about boxing and other combat sports for a while now, and I know that training in a gym will take my skills to another level. So, within these three years, I want to find the time and resources to make that happen.
I also want to focus on financial independence. Whether that means working part-time, freelancing, or exploring different ways to earn, I want to be able to support myself and work towards bigger goals without constantly worrying about money.
My 5-Year Plan
By the time I reach my five-year mark, I hope to be at a point where I have a clear direction in my career and personal life. I want to have solid experience in my field, whether through studies or work, and be confident in the path I’ve chosen. If everything goes as planned, I’d like to be financially stable, have a strong professional network, and be working on something I genuinely enjoy.
Beyond career goals, I also want to have significant progress in martial arts. By then, I hope to have trained consistently in boxing, BJJ, and possibly even wrestling. I’d love to be skilled enough to compete, even if just for the experience. More than that, I want to be physically and mentally stronger, knowing that I’ve pushed myself beyond my limits.
Ultimately, my five-year plan is about growth—career growth, personal growth, and skill development. I know the road ahead won’t be easy, but I’m ready to take on the challenges. As long as I stay focused, work hard, and keep pushing forward, I believe I’ll get to where I want to be.
